Aisling bea was born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984 is Ireland's richest and most famous comedian. She appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, more popularly known as the stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish writer, actress and stand-up comic. Bea, who began appearing as a part-time actress on Irish or British television programs in 2009, began her career as an stand-up comic in 2011. She began appearing frequently on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms in 2012. When she was awarded an prize from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, she was a frequent guest on a variety of panel show where she is now a staple. In 2016 through 2017, she was a team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats as well as a frequent participant for the follow-up show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister named Sinead. In 2012 she became the second woman to ever receive the So You Think you're Funny award. Bea Her maiden name, which is her birth name, pays tribute to her father who passed away. Aisling Cliodhnadh, O'Sullivan is the daughter of a Kildare born girl. Born on March 16th 1984. Her father Brian was a vet for horses who died by suicide when she was just three years old. However, she was not aware of the cause for her father's death until she was 13 years old. Bea was her stage name. Bea was a tribute for her father. She published an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience dealing with suicide. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher and jockey trainer, as well as a an ex-professional jockey. They were obsessed with racing and horses. Bea started out as an official guide for tourists for the Irish National Stud. But she quickly realized that her true passion was doing and not racing.
