Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December 1991. He is the child of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. His mother was caucasian as was his father Nigerian. James graduated in 2010 at Sanderson High School. In 2015, he earned an undergraduate degree in Economics at Wake Forest University. James was first noticed when he was a Reality Actor in The Bachelorette. James was selected in the year 2020 as the bachelor of the year for The Bachelor season 25, making him the initial African American male star. The season premiered later that year. James was the ideal fit for the part. He's attractive and tall, as well as having a good ability to laugh. Rachael Krukconnell turned into his love interest at the conclusion of the season.
